So the knitted blanket I was making for mr 2’s birthday ended up being a total disaster! No worries! I got out my trusty 200 blocks book and got to work, and so have a few more blocks to add to my total.
block 20 – colourful bobbles
block 29 – bobble stripes
block 37 – Pin stripes
block 41 – bobble triangle
block 45 – steps
block 70 – zigzag
block 75 – half & half
block 90 – bright triangles
block 121to 124 – coral seas
(sorry for the terrible photo)
block 141 to 144 – quartet
Now onto the bordering and joining 🙂
This week I am mostly working on a new free pattern which I hope to get up this Friday.
Other than that I have been working on a leaving home present for my little sis, an 8 pointed blanket in St Kilda colours.
Also my swap partner got her package today, so I can show pics of what I made her.
A crovontuli shawl, pattern can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crovontuli
And a cup corset, pattern out of my head.
So I should have made this post yesterday, but by the time I had half an hour to spare my head was so bad I had to go to bed. Started a new medication yesterday, so fingers crossed it will help.
Anyway, one of my many WIPs at the moment is the True blood water lilly blanket. Pattern is here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/true-blood-water-lily-blanket I am putting mine together a little differently, My pinks and whites are diagonal stripes instead of Horizontal, and I am making it much smaller as a throw for the couch. Here is a pic of me joining the middle nine squares together.
As of today I am, 17 squares done, 32 to go.
